About Graphic Design

I am a student in the School of Digital Arts: Graphic Design Bachelor of Fine Arts program at the International Academy of Design and Technology (IADT) Seattle, WA.

I am graduating at the end of August 2009.

The works in this section of my portolio represent samples of projects done for class assignments. The techniques presented include projects requiring hand rendering using traditional materials as well as projects created on the computer using programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Some of the pieces were done as part of specific structured assignments (all requirements and the subject assigned by the instructor). Others were done to complete required projects, but the projects were open as to subject or theme choice. I've provided more specific information in the details for each piece.

As a Graphic Design graduate with a previous degree in English Literature and a strong background in editing and proofreading, I intend to leverage my skills by finding employment with a non-profit organization, a small design firm, or as a freelance graphic designer and editor/proofreader. I believe that my unique combination of skills will prove to be an added-value asset.
